Ask Ceci & Will.

Q. My wife is always criticising me. What do I do?

A.

Communicate your feelings: Let your wife know how her criticism is affecting you. You can say something like, "I can handle some criticism, but this is getting to me".

Consider her needs: Unmet needs, such as a lack of intimacy, appreciation, or respect, can lead to feelings of anger and resentment.

Consider her underlying feelings: Try to imagine what might be going through her mind. You can ask her what she might be feeling aside from criticism.

Consider relationship coaching: Relationship coaching can provide personalized guidance and strategies to help improve emotional intelligence and create a deeper connection.
